Description: Join us as we introduce the fundamentals of sports from soccer to baseball and even football! Each week the class will incorporate age-appropriate skills to develop coordination, agility, and learn the importance of playing together as a team. This program is outdoors at Halloran Park and is weather dependent. This is not a drop-off program, parents must stay in the park area. Instructor: Molly, Winny or MattPlease note: This program is outdoors and is weather dependent. Join fitness instructor/trainer Mary Coulter-Bennett for a gentle cardio workout! Move at your own pace for a low impact standing workout to music you want to move to! Class will include cardio, strength, balance and flexibility for a full body workout. NO ONLINE REGISTRATION, $3 per class or punchcards available. Waiver required. The group does not meet the first Tuesday of every month. 5 class punch card: $15 ($3 per class) 10 class punch card: $20 ($2 per class)20 class punch card:  $35 ($1.75 per class)Classes are held at Halloran Park while weather permits. Join us for a NEW program using the pottery wheel with artist Melissa Kowal, owner of Beeble Art Center!! This two hour class will teach you all about pottery and using a pottery wheel. Please wear clothes and shoes that can get messy.Items will be ready for pick-up or to be glazed approximately 3 weeks after the class or as kiln firing time allows. Glazing is fully optional, takes approximately 1 hour and can be done during business hours as programming allows by appointment only, Mon-Wed 8:30-4:30, Thurs 8:30-7 pm Fri 8:30-12pm. Tiny Tykes coaches are experts at working with young children and will combine soccer with fun games; stories and music that keeps your children entertained and enthused to return next week. Each child will receive a Tiny Tykes official soccer uniform and soccer ball to keep by the the last session of the program.The Tiny Tykes program will bring numerous benefits to children participating in the program. What is Geocaching? Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices.(Most cellphones will work) Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. This is a great way to explore the outdoors with the whole family!How to start: Register for a FREE Basic Membership at www.geocaching.com Visit the "Hide & Seek a Cache" page. Enter your postal code and click "search." Choose any geocache from the list and click on its name. Enter the coordinates of the geocache into your GPS Device. Use your GPS device to assist you in finding the hidden geocache. Sign the logbook and return the geocache to its original location. Rules of Geocaching:  If you take something from the geocache (container), leave something of equal or greater value. Write about your find in the cache logbook Feel free to post about your adventure to the Stoughton Recreation Facebook page or twitter account- @StoughtonMArec Have fun!  You will be able to find caches hidden around the Bradley Lessa Memorial playground trails placed by the Recreation Dept. Please be mindful of your surroundings when searching and use caution.

Description: Join Season 4 & Season 12 Masterchef contestant Malcolm Green for a cooking experience unlike any other! Each class we will provide you with the tools and ingredients to follow along with Malcolm and create your own culinary masterpiece. From prep, to cooking, to plating, Malcolm will teach you all the tricks of the trade. Don't wait to sign up, limited spots available! Please notify the Recreation Dept. of any allergies before the program starts. Our Adult Basketball league gives the community an opportunity play with friends and colleagues in a controlled, indoor atmosphere. Each week teams will switch off wearing dark and light colored shirts. The program is a “pick up” league structure with no referees.
