The Ames Pond Beachfront will have lifeguards on duty every day beginning June 28th-August 16th, 2024, from 10 AM-5 PM weather permitting.
Season pass rates:
Family pass (up to 5 members)- $75Res/$95 Non-Res
Child Season Pass- $20Res/$30 Non-Res
Adult Season Pass- $30Res/$40 Non-Res
Senior Season Pass (55+)- $5Res/$5 Non-Res
Day pass rates:
Child (2-17) - Resident $3 | Non-res $5
Adult (18-55) - Resident $5 | Non-res $8

Available for purchase at the gate. Children under 2 are free
Season passes are available for purchase online, in the office, or at the beachfront. If you purchase your pass online, you must pick it up at the Recreation Center at 15 Pleasant St. It will not be mailed to you.
Season passes are available for purchase or pick-up 5/13-6/27 during business hours at the Recreation Department, 15 Pleasant St Mon-Wed 8:30-4:30 pm, Thurs 8:30-7 pm, Fri 8:30-12 pm
Season passes and day passes available for purchase 6/28-8/16 at the beachfront entrance 10 am - 5 pm. Day passes are only available at the gate. Passes purchased require proof of residency for resident rate.
STARTING JUNE 28th, all season passes must be purchased at the pond or at the Rec office. There will be no online purchasing beginning Friday 6/28.
The Recreation Department reserves the right to void any season pass used inappropriately or if the pass holder's behavior deems it necessary.
Ames Long Pond, located on Highland Street on the Stoughton/Easton border at 1000 Highland St. Significantly removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown, the beach is located in a distinctly country setting. Bordered by shade trees, the beach area is a welcoming spot to beat the heat, especially for families with young children and senior citizens. Amenities include public bathrooms and a dock system. Water quality is tested weekly June 28th-August 16th, 2024.

Hours for the gated beachfront are 10 am -5 pm. Entering the beachfront at any other time or date is considered trespassing. Please note children must be accompanied by an adult at ALL times, including swim lessons.
