Kids Night Out - Kids Night Out Let us take the kids for the night for an evening filled with movies, games, and pizza! Take this opportunity to have a relaxing night out with no worries! Kids Night Out will be held at our new location (15 Pleasant Street). The event will be staffed by the Stoughton Recreation Department along with volunteers and staff from the Stoughton Youth Commission and Stoughton Leadership Institute. You must pre-register your children for this event in advance, limited spots are available. Please note: there are no refunds for Kids Night Out. If you can no longer attend, please let us know so we can open the spot up to another child. If we are able to fill your spot we will issue you an account credit. Dungeons & Dragons is a collaborative storytelling game where players work together to shape an unfolding adventure. It is a game of vast possibilities where you learn to think carefully, plan and strategize, persuade, resolve conflict, and so much more—all while exploring memorable locales, meeting fascinating characters, and facing truly frightening enemies.In this campaign, we will journey into Curse of Strahd, one of D&D’s most iconic gothic horror settings. The adventurers will find themselves drawn into the misty land of Barovia, a place of shadowed forests, haunted villages, and looming castles. Here, danger lurks around every corner, secrets are hidden in plain sight, and choices matter deeply. Without giving too much away, players can expect an adventure filled with mystery, suspense, and the challenge of facing both supernatural threats and moral dilemmas.This campaign is designed for players ages 13–18. It is a game of vast possibilities where you learn to think carefully, plan and strategize, persuade, resolve conflict, and so much more—all while exploring memorable locales, meeting fascinating characters, and facing truly frightening enemies.In this campaign, we will journey into Curse of Strahd, one of D&D’s most iconic gothic horror settings. Little Sports Stars - Little Sports Stars Description: Join us as we introduce the fundamentals of sports from soccer to baseball and even football! Each week the class will incorporate age-appropriate skills to develop coordination, agility, and learn the importance of playing together as a team. This program is outdoors at Halloran Park and is weather dependent. This is not a drop-off program, parents must stay in the park area. Halloween Costume Exchange - Halloween Costume Exchange Join us to see if your child can find a new-to-you Halloween Costume! Costumes will be available as 1 per person, first come first served. Costume Drop-off: Bring your costumes in individually labeled clear plastic bags to the Recreation Department during business hours (15 Pleasant St.). We will not accept bins of costumes or any costumes in bulk not individually packaged. DO NOT LEAVE BAGS OUTSIDE THE BUILDING.Costumes must be in good condition with no damage, stains, or missing pieces. The goal of this is to pass along costumes in good condition to others in the community, not just get rid of junk or things we simply no longer want. Drop off costume deadline is Wednesday Oct. 1st.Costume Exchange: Thursday, October 2nd, from 10:00AM-7:00PM and Friday, October 3rd, from 8:30AM-12:00PM, at 15 Pleasant Street.
