This event is limited to Stoughton residents. You do not need to register in order to drop off a costume, just to attend the event. What to Do:Costume Drop-Off: Drop off your costumes in individually clear plastic bags. We will not accept large bags of multiples, bins of costumes or any costumes in bulk not individually packaged. Costumes must be in like-new condition with no damage, stains or missing pieces. The goal of this is to pass along costumes in good condition to others in our community, not to simply get rid of junk or things we no longer want. Please use donation bins for those items. Costume Exchange: Thursday, October 10th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 15 Pleasant Street. Pre-registration required. Join us to see if your child can find a new Halloween Costume! Costumes will be available as 1 per person, first come first served. What Not to Do:
No Large Trash Bags or Bins: Do not bring costumes in large trash bags or bins. All costumes must be individually sealed in plastic bags
No Damaged Costumes: We cannot accept costumes that are damaged or missing pieces. Please ensure all items are clean and in good condition. The purpose of this is to reuse, not dump junk.
Do not drop items off outside of business hours or outside of the building.
No decorations or any other items outside of Halloween costumes

Digital Comic Book Design - Digital Comic Book Design Comic books are viewed as a simple hobby, but their enduring popularity suggests that they’re much more than that. Comic books have served as a way to imagine the world we want to live in, who we aspire to be, and how to solve our toughest societal problems. Thus, comic books have created a language through which to express the values we consider heroic and worth pursuing. Some of our most important heroes were created in response to global political turmoil, like World War II and the Vietnam War.It is important to give children the tools with which to imagine alternative realities that they are in complete control of. The benefit of doing so in the present is that computational advances have enabled us to design in three dimensions, with unprecedented realism and control. Our instructors will have the opportunity to expose children to 3D modeling, algebra and geometry, computer programming, graphic design, literary analysis, narrative development, characterization, and story arcs.Instructor: Tinker and CreateLocation: Stoughton Public Library (Upstairs Conference Room)Shared laptops are provided. This program does not meet on Halloween 10/31.Please note: Refunds or credits will not be issued within 24 business hours of the program start time, and programs will not be pro-rated for missed classes.
