Blue Hills Ski and Snowboard Lessons - Blue Hills Bus Transportation
The Stoughton Recreation Department, in partnership with Blue Hills Ski Area of Canton, is offering a five-week instructional ski and snowboarding course for children ages 7 to 15. All lessons are 75 minutes long and will be held from 4:30pm – 5:45pm. You will be able to select your level of lessons/skill through your registration choice below. Transportation AND supervision during the program is the responsibility of the parents/guardians unless children are separately signed up for transportation. Hard copies of required paperwork are available at the Rec Department at 15 Pleasant St. during business hours. The program registration due date is Monday, December 11th. You must be registered by this date to join the program. Please note there are no refunds after this date. Waivers Every child must have a completed hard copy of the Blue Hills waiver turned in to the Recreation Department by 12/11. Electronic copies or emailed copies cannot be accepted. Equipment RentalsIf you are renting, you must complete a hard copy the rental agreement and return it to the Recreation Department by 12/11. All participants that are renting must go and get fitted for the equipment prior to the first day of their lesson. Failure in getting pre-fitted will result in significant delays on the students first day of lessons. For an additional cost, your child may be transported from the Stoughton Recreation Department at 15 Pleasant St to Blue Hills Ski Area via a chaperoned bus. The cost for transportation for residents is $35 for all 5 weeks and requires a separate registration. The Stoughton Recreation bus will be leaving from the Rec Building at 3:30P and return between 6:15 and 6:30pm (traffic pending). HELMETS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. This is for obvious safety reasons. If you are renting equipment through Blue Hills, a helmet is included in your price. For those not renting, you are responsible for providing your child with a helmet or renting one separately through Blue Hills. Cancellations If the program is canceled, make up dates are the following: 2/8, 2/15, 2/29. There are no refunds if you are unable to attend the make up dates.

ARRIVE EARLY ON YOUR FIRST DAY, especially if you are renting equipment. Check in with a STOUGHTON RECREATION DEPARTMENT employee to receive your snow pass on your first day.
