Rock Climbing with Central Rock Gym • Register • View Cart •

Description: Ever thought about rock climbing? Or looking to get some more regular experience or meet new rock climbing friends? Designed for kids ages 7-12, the coaches will introduce our participants to the skills and concepts that climbers need to build a solid foundation for climbing growth. The youth clinic strives to open the door for youth climbers to become comfortable in the gym and make lasting friendships. The coaches will use a mix of climbing instruction and team-building games to facilitate each practice. Clinic participants will learn climbing vocabulary, techniques, and body awareness, all in an inviting environment. There are no refunds for session one after 3/20. There are no refunds for session two after 5/1. 

All participants in this program must have a Waiver, CRG orientation form, and an Auto Belay orientation form completed by a parent or legal guardian. Orientations will take place on the first day of the program. Required documents/links will be sent by email prior to the first day of the program. All documents should be completed in advance to help streamline the check-in process.

Please note: Pre-registration required. Any approved cancellations resulting in a refund will incur a 5% cancellation fee, unless the cancellation of the program is initiated by the Recreation Department. In the event that the minimum registration requirement is not met, the program will be canceled. In such instances, participants will receive a full refund, and notification of the cancellation will be sent via email. Periodically, the Recreation Department photographs/videos program participants for promotional use. Unless the participant/guardian informs us of their desire not to be photographed in writing, the Recreation Department will use photographs/videos for their promotional purposes. Registration is first-come, first served. Participants are not fully registered for a program until payment is received in full and a completed waiver has been received. You will always receive an invoice to your email confirming your registration. Please note that activities may include sensory-rich environments and experiences which can sometimes involve loud noise and messy, hands-on materials. Our programs are open to all participants. If your child has specific needs, we encourage you to reach out so we can discuss accommodations within our means.
