HELMETS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. Due to new policies from Blue Hills, helmets are now an additional fee, you can select helmets when checking out through our website. For those not renting, you are responsible for providing your child with a helmet or renting one separately through Blue Hills.
Lessons: Participants are tested by instructors and assigned to groups based on their skill levels. All participants must complete a pre-level assessment. This may be completed in-person during the pre-season rental fitting or remotely via the online forms prior to the start of the lesson. Participants will be pre-leveled into 1 of 4 groups, White, Green & White, Green, and Blue based on skill level. Corresponding colored flags will be used to mark the locations where participants will meet their instructors and group each week. On the first program day, instructors will assess students in each larger color group to build smaller groups of similar age and stage of skill development. If you believe your child has been placed in the wrong group, please have your child communicate with their teacher in addition to contacting Blue Hills Snowsports.
